Luminous Liquid Foundation SPF 18

5 Fall Favorites You Need to Try This Season

What is it about Fall that makes us want to toss everything we own and start fresh? Sure, it’s not really the start of the new year but it always tends to feel that way. While it might not be in the budget to completely ditch every product in your routine, the leaves are changing and it’s finally time to put away your Summer essentials and make room for your new Fall favorites.

Choose a Hydrating Foundation

Luminous Liquid Foundation SPF 18

If you opted for lightweight tinted moisturizers this Summer, you can officially breakout your fuller coverage formulas. Luminous Liquid Foundation SPF 18 is perfect for cooler temps because it expertly hides signs of dry skin without being too heavy. The hydrating formula softens and blurs any fine lines or imperfections, leaving you with a gorgeous complexion.

Try a Facial Oil

Fall Favorite Phyto-Active Conditioning Oil

Ready to amp up your moisturizer? Try a face oil! We know it’s not winter QUITE yet, so it might not be time to bring out your richest creams, but adding an oil to your Summer moisturizer is a great way to transition to a heavier formula. Plus, face oils provide tons of added moisture and other nourishing benefits when the temps drop and the air becomes more dry. To use, either mix the oil with your moisturizer in the palm of your hand before applying, or apply your face oil on top of your moisturizer to lock in the added hydration.

Resume Active Ingredients

Glycolic Acid Trio

Fall is the perfect time to restart your active ingredient regimen, since you’re not in the sun as often. From Retinol to Glycolic Acid, so many of our favorite ingredients can cause sun sensitivity if not used properly. While we ALWAYS recommend wearing a daily SPF, the cooler months are the ideal time to really get serious about transforming your skin, especially if you’re dealing with any aftermath from Summer, like hyperpigmentation. This season is also great for restarting any professional treatments, since you have more time to let your skin heal indoors.

Test Out Bold Lips

Fall Favorites Bold Lips

Don’t get us wrong, sheer glosses are fun, but nothing packs a punch quite like a pop of color on the lips. Fall is the best time to bust out your rich berries and classic reds, since you don’t have to worry about products melting off your face. Our favorite shades this season? Lipsticks: Date Night, Brick-house and Runway; Suede Matte Crayons: Rumor and Crimson. For the perfect pout, lightly exfoliate the delicate lip area then prime with your favorite balm. And don’t forget to line your lips to prevent any bleeding or smudging!

Indulge in Sleeping Masks

Fall Favorite Masks

If you’re not already incorporating masks into your routine, Fall is a great time to start. We especially love extra hydrating formulas that you can sleep in, to give you an effortless ‘I woke up like this’ glow in the morning. Try applying a thin layer of Restorative Mask up to 3 nights per week for a boost of hydration and antioxidants.
